Ricky Rudd -- Back Where He Belongs

I am happy to see Ricky Rudd come out of retirement and go back with Yates Racing. According to this article, he will be racing for Yates with out-of-nowhere and possible ROTY sensation David Gilliland as his teammate. I was ready to bury the entire Yates team, when they were talking about selling all or part of the team to DEI, but I'm good at being wrong, and that is a good thing sometimes. Rudd has plenty of talent, and some of his best races were with Robert Yates. You go, Ricky! It's good to see him back.

It's the rise of the VA boys as Ward and Ricky come back to Cup full time. I'm gonna luv seeing them race, and hope they can get some good equipment under them.

I think RYR will get it back together eventually, maybe 2007, maybe later. Chemistry seemed to be the problem in 2006, you could see that by how well Sadler did when he went to Everham in comparison to his season with Yates. Gilliland has potential, and Rudd is an aggressive racer, who can really turn the program around.
With Ward and Jeff Burton, Denny Hamlin, Elliott Saddler, and Ricky Rudd, there seem to be more Virginians driving race cars now than anybody else.
